PURPOSE: A surface coating method for a core pin of a mold for high pressure casting is provided to prevent molten aluminum alloy from being burned on the surface of the mold core pin during the high temperature/high pressure casting.;CONSTITUTION: A surface coating method for a core pin of a mold for high pressure casting comprises a step of forming a coating layer formation part(11) by cutting the surface of the mold core pin, a step of forming an undercoating layer(12) by spraying mixed powder including Mo 5~30 weight% and Fe 70~95 weight% at low temperature, a step of forming a burning-resistant coating layer(13) by spraying mixed powder including MoB 20~40 weight% and CoCr 60~80 weight% at low temperature, and a step of cutting the surface of the burning-resistant coating layer corresponding to the mold core pin.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
