A terminal for distribution automation and a fault current protection cooperation method are provided to facilitate determination of a fault section by suppressing the false N phase fault detection. A terminal for distribution automation includes a circuit input output module(200), a main module(100) and a backplane module(400). The circuit input output module receives the current and the voltage of a switch. The main module detects the fault through the current and the voltage received by the circuit input output module. The main module is connected to a user interface module(300). The backplane module performs signal interface between a circuit input output module, a main module and a power module(500). The main module includes a converter, a DSP(Digital Signal Processor) and a CPU(Central Processing Unit). The DSP suppresses the false N-state fault detection. The CPU operates the protection cooperation algorithm.
