REFORMING METHOD OF ACTIVATED CARBON MODIFICATED WITH ELECTROLYTIC REDUCTION METHOD

PURPOSE: A method for modifying activated carbon with an electrolytic reduction method is provided to improve cycle life property by reducing the oxygen content existing in the surface of the activated carbon. CONSTITUTION: A method for modifying activated carbon with an electrolytic reduction method includes the following steps of: adjusting the concentration of basic electrolyte aqueous solution to 10% in a reaction bath(S10); agitating activated charcoal and the basic electrolyte aqueous solution for 4 ~ 6 minutes after inputting the basic electrolyte aqueous solution of 97 ~ 99 wt% and the activated charcoal of 1 ~ 3 wt%(S20); installing a carbon stick electrode of a cathode and an anode in a separated space(S30); injecting a current and voltage with the carbon stick electrode(S40); washing the reformed activated charcoal with distilled waters(S50); and decompressing the activated charcoal at a temperature of 85 ~ 95C(S60).
