DROPPING TEMPERATURE MEASURING INSTRUMENT FOR IRON ORE AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A device and a method for measuring the melting temperature of iron ore using a sensor is provided to detect the load time point by detecting light from the loading process. CONSTITUTION: A furnace(10) heats a crucible(20) with an iron ore(22) in inside to the melting point of the iron ore. A supporting board(40) is arranged in the lower part of the crucible. The supporting board collects pig iron(25) in which the iron ore becomes molten and to be loaded. A detection sensor(100) outputs the visible ray as an electric signal by sensing the visible ray created in the pig iron loaded on the supporting board. The melting temperature of the iron ore is detected by a controller(150) based on the output signal from the detection sensor.
