PURPOSE: A method for monitoring a main steam and reheated steam operation device of a boiler is provided to detect channeling in the boiler, malfunction of the desuperheater, and wrong signals of the temperature measuring unit in early stage by displaying the states in a bar graph. CONSTITUTION: A main steam and reheated steam operation device of a boiler comprises a first superheater with a first desuperheater, and a final superheater composed of a main steam unit and a reheating steam unit. According to method for monitoring the main steam and reheated steam operation device, an alarm(4) is made when the deviation(3) between a set temperature value(1) of the final superheater and the actual temperature(2) of one of steam pipes is over the set value.
