CONSTRUCTION AND IMPROVEMENT METHOD FOR THE BERTH SCHEDULING IN THE CONTINUOUS BERTH

PURPOSE: A construction and improvement method for berth scheduling in a continuous berth is provided to determine the optimal position and time for come alongside the pier. CONSTITUTION: An initial assignment order for ships is determined(S100). The ships are arranged one by one according to the initial assignment order so that an initial ship arrangement table is created(S200). The ship arrangement table is improved based on the initial ship arrangement table(S300). A container crane is additionally assigned to each ship based on the final ship arrangement table(S400). The initial assignment order is determined based on SPT(Shortest Processing Time) regulation, EDD(Earliest Due Date) regulation and SBC(Sequence By Cost) regulations.
