PURPOSE: A water purifier and an operating method thereof are provided to operate a sterilization mode of a purification module in case a sterilization process is needed, and to supply ozonated water and purified water selectively.;CONSTITUTION: A water purifier includes a water inlet(101), a water outlet(401), an ozone module(200), and a water purifying module(300). The water inlet has a first three-way tube(102), and supplies the water to the ozone module and the water purifying module. The ozone module includes an ozone generator(202), a first valve(201), a second valve(204), and a first check valve(205).
