METHOD FOR CULTIVATING SEEDLING CUTTED ROOT

PURPOSE: A method for cultivating root pruning seedlings is provided to facilitate the development of lateral roots of the seedlings by restricting the growth of taproot in a seeding state without an artificial root pruning process. CONSTITUTION: A method for cultivating root pruning seedlings includes the following steps: arranging a perforated plate(100) in which a plurality of perforated holes(110) are formed on the bottom of a seed bed; covering the perforated plate with soil; sowing seeds of the seedlings(10) on the perforated plate; and facilitating the development of lateral roots(12) while restricting the growth of the main root(11). The diameter of the perforated holes is formed at 2.2-4.0mm. The perforated plate is made of one material between an iron and an acryl plates.
