PURPOSE: An automatic air capturing quantitative method using a chest CT image is provided to minimize an error of diagnosis and evaluation by quantitatively diagnosing an air capturing area of a pulmonary patient.;CONSTITUTION: The 3D minimum respiration chest volume data and the 3D maximum respiration chest volume data are obtained by CT(Computed Tomography) method(S110). A binary image about each volume data is generated(S120). The global movement between the binary images about each volume data is compensated(S130). The global movement between binary images about each volume data is compensated(S140). A subtraction image between the binary images about each volume data is generated(S150).
