PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display and a drive method thereof are provided to prevent vertical line inferiority at low temperature and consuming current increment at high temperature by controlling the rising slope of the source voltage.;CONSTITUTION: A display unit(110) comprises liquid crystal cells which are positioned in a crossed part of data lines and gate lines. A source driver(120) supplies source voltage to data lines. A temperature sensor(200) senses ambient temperature. A source driver comprises a source amplifying register adjusting the rising tangent of the source voltage corresponding to sensed temperature signals.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
