NEUTRAL POSITION CONTROL DEVICE OF A STEERING WHEEL, FOR ACCURATELY CONTROLLING THE NEUTRAL POSITION OF A STEERING WHEEL BY CONTROLLING THE NUMBER OF SCREW HOLES OF FIRST AND SECOND BEVEL GEARS AND SCREW HOLES OF A HUB PROJECTION
PURPOSE: A neutral position control device of a steering wheel is provided to improve the convenience of an operator by conveniently controlling the neutral position of a steering wheel without separating a steering wheel from a steering column.;CONSTITUTION: A neutral position control device of a steering wheel comprise a hub projection(14), a column shaft(41), a first bevel gear(45), and a pair of first and second shaft nuts(47,49). A slope whose diameter gradually gets smaller is formed on the outer surface of the hub projection along the direction projected from a hub(12) of a steering wheel(10). A screw groove(43b) is conically formed on the slope according to the columnar direction. The column shaft is inserted to the ball inserted to a shaft insertion hole(24) of the steering column. The column shaft revolves about the steering column. The first and second bevel gears are connected to the column shaft by passing through both sides of the column projected from the shaft insertion hole. A screw groove is formed on the side inclined to be connected to the screw groove of the hub projection in the first and second bevel gears. First and second shaft nuts are connected to both ends of the column shaft.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
