NEW PLANT VARIETY OF ROSE 'GIPPEUMI'

PURPOSE: A novel rose species 'Gippeumi' is provided to have orange color and excellent characteristic with original species and use in garden plant breeding industry. CONSTITUTION: A novel rose species Gippeumi is obtained by irradiating 70Gy60Co of -ray to original rose species, planting in green house for two years, and selecting rose having excellence of original species, and persistence of mutant. The novel rose species of orange Gippeumi is characterized by flower orange red color, 11.7cm of flower width, 38 petals, strong scent, and thin and round flower form.
