PURPOSE: An air-bag for a passenger seat and an air bag cushion folding method are provided to prevent injuries to a passenger as an air bag cushion is deployed at an initial time upward and then, the air bag cushion is deployed along an instrument panel.;CONSTITUTION: An air-bag(A) for a passenger seat comprises an air bag cushion(20), an inflator(30), and a housing cover. The air bag cushion is installed within a housing(10). The inflator supplies gas to the air bag cushion. The housing cover covers the housing. The air bag cushion is composed of a first and a second folding block(21,22). The first folding block is horizontally installed within the housing on the housing cover.
