PURPOSE: A method for measuring the temperature of an on-chip temperature sensor circuit is provided to measure any ranges of temperature by selectively driving an active current source to express a region of chip current as a function within a standard range. CONSTITUTION: A method for measuring the temperature of an on-chip temperature sensor circuit comprises the steps of: determining whether a chip current corresponding to the current temperature in a chip is in a standard temperature measurement range(S30), selecting an active current source so that the chip current is converted to a proportional current proportional to temperature or to a complementary current inverse proportional to temperature(S80,130), and comparing the chip current varied depending on the selected active current source with the proportional current(S90,S140).
