PURPOSE: An anti-inflammatory composition containing Rhus succedanea extract is provided to suppress NO generation and inducible NOS expression and ensure anti-inflammation effect without side effects. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for anti-inflammation contains Rhus succedanea extract as an active ingredient. The Rhus succedanea extract is obtained using water, alcohol or their mixture. The alcohol is C1-C4 low alcohol. A method for producing the Rhus succedanea extract comprises: a step of pulverizing the Rhus succedanea and adding extraction solvent; a step of filtering the extract; and a step of decompressing and freeze-drying. The skin external formulation for anti-inflammation contains the Rhus succedanea extract an active ingredient.
