PURPOSE: A device for reducing the rotation speed of a drilling rod of a drill is provided to form a second decelerating box which decelerates the output speed of a first gear box and assemble a hammering member, which hammers a drilling rod, in the second decelerating box to be detached.;CONSTITUTION: A device for reducing the rotation speed of a drilling rod of a drill comprises a hydraulic motor(20), a first gear box, and a second gear box. The hydraulic motor is rotated by receiving the hydraulic flow from a travelling carriage. The first gear box comprises a gear(32) which transmits power, a lever which changes the speed of rotation, and an output shaft part. A small gear(53) and a large gear are integrated with the shaft part which is supported inside the second gear box to rotate on the bearing inside the box.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
