PURPOSE: A sulfonated poly(arylene ether sulfone) copolymer containing a photocrosslinkable functional group is provided to realize high density and low porosity of the film surface through light irradiation, and to form a polymer electrolyte membrane with improved properties. CONSTITUTION: A sulfonated poly(arylene ether sulfone) copolymer containing a photocrosslinkable functional group comprises a structure represented by chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, Y is -S-, -SO2-, -P(C6H5)O- or -C=O-; Z is a direct bond, -O-, -SO2-, -C=O-, -C(CH3)2-, or -C(CF3)2-; (a+c)/(a+b+c+d) is 0.3-0.7; and represents the polymerization between repeating units.
