PURPOSE: A mixed ligand metal-organic framework having large pore is provided to ensure most effective size and use in adsorption, isolation, ion-exchange, catalyst, and sensor. CONSTITUTION: A 3D non-penetrate porous mixed ligand metal-organic framework or solvate thereof is denoted by chemical formula 1, ({M2(L1)2(L2)X(Sol1)Y(Sol2)}n). Langmuir surface area of the metal organic framework is 2000-4500 m^2g^-1. BET surface area is 1500-3500 m^2g^-1. Dubinin-Radushkevich air gap volume is 0.3-3.0 cm^3g^-1 and total free space is 70-95%. A metal-organic framework of chemical formula 2({M2(L1)2(L2)}n) is manufactured by heating the solvate of chemical formula 1 in vacuum at 80-120C for 1 to 4 hours. The metal-organic framework is contained in vapor sensing device, vapor storage body or vapor separation device.
