摘要

PURPOSE: A method for measuring frictional force of a steering system of a vehicle is provided to draw out frictional force of a steering column by reducing frictional force of a steering rack.;CONSTITUTION: A method for measuring frictional force of a steering system of a vehicle is as follows. When a steering wheel is fixed, torque, transferred to a steering handle, is measured. Frictional force of a steering rack is measured from the measured torque. When front wheels are freely rotated, the moment of the steering handle is measured. Composite frictional force, which comprises a steering column and the steering rack, is drawn out.
