PURPOSE: A contact type heat exchange unit and a sludge hydrolysis system including the unit are provided to drastically reduce the amount of heating energy required for sludge hydrolysis by heat-exchanging sludge with poor mobility with the contact type heat exchange unit and to reduce heat energy costs by repetitively performing a contact heat exchange. CONSTITUTION: A contact type heat exchange unit comprises: a high temperature sludge pipe(40) in which a high temperature sludge is carried to the inner side of the unit; a low temperature sludge transfer device(50) which transfers low temperature sludge to the outer surface of the high temperature sludge pipe; and a pressure injection device(70) which supplies the low temperature sludge to the low temperature sludge transfer device or discharges the low temperature sludge from the low temperature sludge transfer device. The low temperature sludge is contacted with the outer side surface of the high temperature sludge pipe. The high temperature sludge is frozen.
