PURPOSE: A polypeptide or fusion protein thereof is provided to suppress growth of cancer cells by suppressing angiogenesis of vascular endothelial cells. CONSTITUTION: A polypeptide having activity of suppressing cancer cell growth and inflammation is derived from a polypeptide comprising sequence number 1 or 2. The polypeptide also comprises 4-200 amino acids containign 123th to 125th peptide of sequence number 1 or 2. The polypeptide is selected from a group of polypeptide of sequence number 3 to 5, 7 to 14 and 16.
