PURPOSE: A priority traffic signal control system for an automatic operation vehicle is provided to control a traffic signal according to the position of the automatic operation vehicle by giving a traffic signal priority to the automatic operation vehicle in an intersection. CONSTITUTION: An automatic operation controller(140) is installed in an automatic operation vehicle(130) and includes an operation sensor and a vehicles wireless signal transceiver. The operation sensor senses the operation state of the automatic operation vehicle. The vehicle wireless signal transceiver transmits the operation state of the automatic operation vehicle by wireless. If the automatic operation vehicle approaches the intersection, a wireless priority signal controller(150) controls traffic signaling devices(111,121) in an intersection to secure the priority progressing of the automatic operation vehicle.
