PURPOSE: An embedded scale-out aggregator for storage array controllers is provided to show to diverse storage resources to a user by collecting the resources through one device by using embedded scale-out aggregator mechanism.;CONSTITUTION: A remote virtual drive associated with at least one remote storage array is found(410), and at least one remote virtual drive associated with a local storage array is indicated(420). An IO(Input/Output) request is received from a client(430), and the client is addressed to the at least remote array and the at least remote virtual drive.
