摘要

PURPOSE: A method for refining ferritic stainless steel containing titanium is provided to manufacture ferritic stainless steel containing titanium with a superior surface quality by restricting the production of high melting point inclusion.;CONSTITUTION: A method for refining ferritic stainless steel containing titanium is as follows. The basicity of slag(CaO weight%/SiO2 weight% ratio) after silicon deoxidation is controlled to 1.6~2.2. The Al_2O_3 content of the slag is controlled to 5~10 weight%. Aluminum is put in the slag by 2~3kg/ton-steel with regard to the weight of molten steel. The ferritic stainless steel comprises C: 0.05~0.2 weight%, Si: 0.2~0.7 weight%, Cr: 11~13 weight%, N: 0.05~0.2 weight%, and Ti: 0.1~0.3 weight%.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
