PURPOSE: A traffic monitoring system for foggy areas is provided to prevent large tragedies by informing a driver in a following ship of an accident in a foggy area. CONSTITUTION: An information collection unit(2) comprises a thermal imaging camera. An image correction unit(24) revises the thermal image transmitted from the thermal imaging camera. A dash board(26) displays the corrected thermal image. An emergency display input unit(32) displays an emergency output. An information guide plate(20) outputs the emergency information to a operator in the field. A data storage unit(30) stores emergency information data.
