PURPOSE: A method for controlling a position of an eye examining device is provided to simplify a mechanical structure by controlling the position of a subject without an additional position controller.;CONSTITUTION: A mire ring light source(122a,122b) irradiates ring type measurement light to a cornea of a subject. A first imaging optical system(140) detects a mire ring optical image reflected from the cornea of the subject. An operation control device(180) calculates the position and size of the mire ring optical image and calculates vertical and horizontal movement quantity of an eye examining device optical system(10) from the position of the mire ring optical image to arrange the cornea of the subject in an optical axis.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
