PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing silver powder from a silver ingot is provided to prevent harmful effect to a human body by excluding a toxic reduction agent.;CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing silver powder from a silver ingot comprises the steps of: adding strong nitric acid to a silver ingot and keeping a decomposition temperature to produce silver nitrate, adding sodium hydroxide solution to the silver nitrate to form silver oxide slurry, drying the silver oxide slurry to produce silver oxide powder, mixing the silver oxide powder with ceramic balls, and producing silver powder through thermal composition of the silver oxide powder.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
