PURPOSE: A flywheel structure of an energy storage device is provided to enable stable driving by installing upper and lower trust collars on the upper and the lower surface of a rotor and a hub of a flywheel.;CONSTITUTION: A flywheel structure of an energy storage device comprises a central axis(1), a rotor(2), a hub(3), and a thrust collar. A central axis is connected to a bearing and an electric motor. The rotor has high strength and stores spin energy. The hub interlinks the central axis and the rotor. The thrust collar is installed on the top of the central axis. The upper and the lower thrust collar(4a,4b) are installed on the upper and the lower surface of the rotor or the hub, respectively.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
