PURPOSE: A blog search apparatus and a method using a blog authority value estimation technique are provided to reduce temporal overhead necessary in a search of an important document by searching a neighbor blog of a high authority value preferentially.;CONSTITUTION: A blog search apparatus includes an authority value estimator(110), a priority calculator(120) and blog search unit(130). The authority value estimator estimates an authority value through local information of a searched target blog. The priority calculator calculates priority according to existence of a document corresponding to the authority value and a query.
