COMPOUND CONTAINING GUKULENIN A AND B EXTRACTED FROM PHORBAS GUKULENSIS, AND AN ANTI-CANCER DRUG USING THEREOF

PURPOSE: A new compound containing gukulenin A and B extracted from phorbas gukulensis is provided to apply the compound as a new anti-cancer drug with anticancer properties to all kinds of cancer cells.;CONSTITUTION: A compound contains gukulenin A and B. The gukulenin is marked by chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, R is C(=O)H or CH2OH. The extracting method of the gukulenin comprises the following steps: extracting phorbas gukulensis using methanol; evaporating a solvent under a reduced pressure environment to distribute and extract dichloromethane and water; evaporating the solvent on the obtained dichloromethane layer to distribute and extract the methanol and n-hexane; obtaining a residue by evaporating the solvent from the methanol layer and refining the residue twice; and obtaining the gukulenin.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
