TUNNEL EXCAVATION METHOD, CAPABLE OF SAFELY EXCAVATING A TUNNEL WITH IMPROVED STABILITY

PURPOSE: A tunnel excavation method is provided to remarkably reduce noise and environmental destruction when a tunnel is excavated, and to reduce construction costs by shortening construction time.;CONSTITUTION: A tunnel excavation method is as follows. An arch-shaped cross section(10) is formed between an in-situ ground(20) and an excavated ground(30). A foundation tunnel is formed by additionally excavating the excavated ground using vibration-proof excavating equipment. A lining structure(60) is formed by installing a lining along the excavated surface of the foundation tunnel. The ground is stabilized by injecting mortar to a space between the lining structure and the excavated surface of the foundation tunnel.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
