PURPOSE: A curtain airbag module is provided to ensure smooth deployment of the curtain air bag through a gap between a head lining and a B-pillar trim by a guide ramp.;CONSTITUTION: A curtain airbag module comprises an inflator(30), a mounting bracket(50), an airbag(20), a mounting flap(22), and a guide ramp(40). The inflator is located in the top portion of a B-pillar(3). The mounting bracket fixes the inflator to a vehicle body. The airbag is extended from the lower part of the inflator along a roof side rail and connected to the inflator in the middle. The mounting flap is extended upward from the airbag and the leading end thereof is fixed to the mounting bracket. The guide ramp is arranged close to the top of a B-pillar trim(1) and holds the airbag.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
