PURPOSE: A method for handover using relay station is provided to share one relay station with two or more BSs, thereby improving reliability of a signal or a message which a terminal receives.;CONSTITUTION: An RS(Relay Station)(120) relays handover request message(HO_IND) between an MS(Mobile Station)(100) and a target BS(Base Station)(112). The RS relays a ranging message between the MS and the target BS. If synchronizing is completed, the RS receives CQI(Channel Quality Indicator) information of a ranging response signal or allocated resources through synchronizes resources.
