PURPOSE: A microorganism mutant which produces 1,3-propandiol is provided to produce 1,3-propandiol from glycerol without by-product and to reduce cost in purification process.;CONSTITUTION: A microorganism mutant which produces 1,3-propandiol is obtained by deleting or inactivating a gene coding ehydroxyacetone kinase or a gene coding transcription factor in a microorganism having an ability of producing 1,3-propandiol using glycerol as a carbon source.
