PURPOSE: A method for predicting a rolling force in a steel sheet rolling process is provided to predict accurate rolling force for various types of steel by using high temperature flow stress comprising the component of material.;CONSTITUTION: A method for predicting a rolling force in a steel sheet rolling process comprises the steps of: experimentally obtaining high temperature flow stress for steel according to temperature and the type of steel, extracting relational expression among high temperature flow stress, components and temperature according to steel type through regression analysis, obtaining high temperature flow stress by substituting the components of an object and predicted temperature to the relational expression, obtaining a reference strength using the high temperature flow stress, obtaining a deformation resistance using the reference strength, and predicting a rolling force using the deformation resistance.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
