PURPOSE: A metal nano catalyst, a manufacturing method of the metal nano catalyst, a nanotube using the metal nano catalyst, and a method controlling a growth pattern of the carbon nanotube using the metal nano catalyst are provided to adjust a growth pattern of a synthetic carbon nanotube while changing a composition of the metal nano catalyst.;CONSTITUTION: A metal nano catalyst has a composition marked as (Ni, Co, Fe)x (Mo, V) y (Al2O3, MgO, SiO2) z. At this time, x, y and z are molar ratio. 1=x=10, 0=y=5 and 2=z=15. A metal nano catalyst has a structure that one or more metal catalyst selected from a group consisting of Co, Fe and Ni is adsorbed to AI2O3 surface. A manufacturing method of the metal nano catalyst contains a step of burning a water-soluble metallic catalyst derivative.
