PURPOSE: An automatic container-fixing device for a freight car is provided to automatically fix a container when the container is placed on the fixed location of the upper plate of the freight car, wherein a shaft, a spring, a socket, a ball, and a fixture piece are formed.;CONSTITUTION: An automatic container-fixing device for a freight car comprises a shaft(20), a spring(27), a socket(30), a ball(40), and a fixture piece(37). A locking part(21) of a cone and oval shape is projected from the upper part of the shaft. The shaft is integrated with the locking part formed by stage-stepping a socket insertion part(22) and a spring insertion part(25). A pair of hemispherical grooves(23) are spirally formed on the circumference of the socket insertion part to face each other. A handle is coupled with the lower part of the spring insertion part.
