PURPOSE: An event control and a method for reporting state of the cable modem and apparatus thereof are provided so that to request the transmission band of the cable modem status message it is offered through the periodically allocated polling section.;CONSTITUTION: A band width allocation mode decision part(403) decides whether or not it periodically assigns the transmission band of the cable modem status message about the event triggered of the cable modem.
