PURPOSE: A frame alignment signal detecting method in an OTN(Optical Transport Network) system and a device thereof are provided to detect a frame alignment signal from a parallel frame type by converting a frame signal into a parallel signal of a low speed.;CONSTITUTION: An optical module(10) converts a high speed optical signal to a plurality of low speed signals. The optical module outputs a plurality of the low speed signals to a parallel frame type. A parallel frame processing unit(20) includes a frame detection part(24). The fame detection part includes a first frame detector, a bit alignment part, and a second frame detector.
