PURPOSE: A brake for a caster is provided to improve work efficiency by facilitating the fix and release process of a caster by controlling an operating lever with less power.;CONSTITUTION: A brake for a caster(100) comprises: an installation bracket(1) which is installed on the rotary shaft of the wheel of the caster; a blotting lever(3) which is installed to be descendible and elastically supported in the inner side of the mounting bracket by a returning spring(2); and a blotting power generator which is installed between the installation bracket and the blotting lever in order to be operated and directly descend the blotting lever. A guidance axis is vertically installed in the inner side of the blotting lever. The blotting power generator comprises a rolling member(8), which is installed in order to be integrally rotated with the operation lever, and a lifting member(9).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
