PURPOSE: A preparing method of a titanium suboxide using the electrolytic reduction of molten salt is provided to selectively produce various kinds of titanium suboxide by the reaction time, using the electrolytic reduction of molten salt.;CONSTITUTION: A preparing method of a titanium suboxide marked with chemical formula 1: TinO2n-1, comprises a step of performing the electrolytic reduction of titanium dioxide inside the molten salt of calcium chloride. In the chemical formula 1, n is a fixed number of 2~4. The electrolytic reduction process is performed by an electrolytic reduction apparatus including a positive electrode and a negative electrode containing the titanium dioxide. The electrolytic reduction process is proceeded at 700~1,000 deg C for 20~400 minutes.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
