PURPOSE: A nanoporous carbon material and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to synthesize the carbon material containing a magnetic nanoparticle inside a single reactor. CONSTITUTION: A nanoporous carbon material contains the following: a template for forming an organic structure; and a magnetic nanoparticle produced by an organic-organic self-assembly method using organic compounds forming a pore wall of the material. A manufacturing method of the nanoporous carbon material uses a terpolymer as a mold, an organic compound precursor for forming the pore wall, and a transition metal compound as a magnetic nano particle precursor.
