SENSOR ASSEMBLY FOR A RUPTURE DISC WHICH CAN SET PRESSURE THROUGH WIDTH CONTROL OF A CONNECTION PART OF AN ELASTIC BAND

PURPOSE: A sensor assembly for a rupture disc is provided to ensure rupture even under a minute change in pressure and facilitate setting of minute rupture pressure.;CONSTITUTION: A ruptured disc assembly comprises a disc seal(200), a support disc(300), and a rupture knife. A pair of disc holders are installed facing each other within a fluid outflow pipe of a pressure vessel. The circumference of the disc seal is located between the disc holders and the inner side is formed to block the opened inner side of each disc holder. The disc seal is transformed by pressure changes of the pressure vessel. The support disc comprises a rim part(310) fixed between opposite sides of the disc holders and an elastic band(320) of thin plate whose both ends are respectively connected to both sides of the rim part. If the elastic band and the disc seal are bent to the rupture direction and collide against each other, the rupture knife breaks the disc seal.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
