PURPOSE: A tundish balance position control device and a method thereof are provided to prevent the damage of a tundish bogie by decelerating the tundish bogie if the tundish bogie is approached to a stop position.;CONSTITUTION: A tundish balance position control device comprises a first and a second limit switches(3,4) which are turned on with a stopper arranged in the location in which the tundish balance stops, a determining unit(20) which determines as a deceleration position if ON-signal is received from the first limit switch or determines as a stop position if ON-signal is received from the second limit switch, and a controller(30) which is outputs a speed reducing signal which decelerates the tundish bogie if the determining unit determines as the deceleration position or stops the tundish bogie if the determining unit determines as the stop position.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
