PURPOSE: An aceclofenac-containing sustained release tablet is provided to control release and to promote absorption and stability of aceclofenac absorption. CONSTITUTION: An aceclofenac sustained release tablet comprises: an immediate release layer containing aceclofenac, water soluble additive, pH adjuster, disintegrant, filler and lubricant; and a sustained release layer containing aceclofenac, release control polymer, fat soluble surfactant, filler, and lubricant. The pH adjuster is sodium hydrogen carbonate. The release control polymer is a mixture of hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose and carbomer in a mixture ratio of 10:1-20:1. The water soluble additive is poloxamer.
