PURPOSE: A slope side of a bank protection method using an environment-friendly corn fiber vegetative mat is provided to prevent the loss of soil by installing a vegetative mat. CONSTITUTION: A slope side of a bank protection method using an environment-friendly corn fiber vegetative mat is as follows. A vertical pile(1) is arranged and fixed on an inclined foundation at a river side at a regular interval. A vegetation frame(5) is formed by fixing a horizontal rod(3) between fixed piles. The vegetative mat is installed in front of the vegetative frame to be extended toward the top from the bottom. A base layer is formed by pouring rocks and gravel in the inside of the vegetative mat. The foundation layer is formed on a foundation by stepping the top of the vegetative mat.
