PURPOSE: A construction method of a sidewalk block for protecting a roadside tree is provided to improve walk environment for pedestrians because a walk space around sidewalk become wide. CONSTITUTION: A construction method of a sidewalk block for protecting a roadside tree comprises following steps. A gravel layer is laid under the lower position of a perforated drain pipe block box, wherein a hole is dug to embed multiple perforated pipe block boxes around root of road side trees(200). The perforated drain pipe block box is embedded in the hole formed around the root of road side trees. A non-woven fabric is fixed on the bottom of the perforated drain pipe block box. The gravel layer is formed on the top of the non-woven fabric.
