PURPOSE: A direct teaching robot capable of detecting impact, which provides convenience by directly controlling a robot, and a method for detecting impact are provided to secure the safety of an operator by preventing damage to a robot by the malfunction of a robot.;CONSTITUTION: A direct teaching robot capable of detecting impact is directly operated by an operator. The operator catches the leading end of a robot and operates the robot using a F/T(Force/Torque) sensor. The operator holds a middle shaft in which the F/T sensor is installed or the leading end of the robot, and controls the robot according to the free degree of the robot.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
