PURPOSE: A maleimide-based compound, a substrate formation composition, and a substrate manufactured thereby are provided to improve the solvent solubility and the viscosity of the substrate formation composition.;CONSTITUTION: A substrate formation composition contains a maleimide-based compound with more than 3 maleimide groups, and an oligomer or a liquid crystal polymer. The maleimide-based compound is selected from the group consisting of compounds marked with chemical formula 1 and 2, and their combination. In the chemical formula 1 and 2, R1~R3 are C6~C24 substituted or non-substituted arylene groups. R4~R7 are hydrogen or a C1~C5 alkyl group, respectively.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
