PURPOSE: A method for simultaneously analyzing cigarette ingredients and metabolites in urine is provided to analyzing material at once and easily check smoking-associated diseases.;CONSTITUTION: A method for simultaneously analyzing cigarette ingredients and metabolites in urine comprises: a process of extracting analysate from urine in a solid phase; a process of isolating the extracted material by liquid chromatography; and a process of analyzing the concentration of metabolite and cigarette ingredients by mass spectrometry. The cigarette ingredient and metabolite are nicotine, metabolite thereof, NNK(4-(Methylnitro samino)-1-(3-pyridyl)-1-butanone) or metabolite thereof.
